Rascally Raskulls

Earlier this year we took a look at the Games of 2010. There amongst the post apocalyptic action epics and brutal first person shooters was a little game from Queensland’s Halfbrick Studios. A fast paced puzzle platformer with a pinch of combat and racing thrown in for good measure, Raskulls immediately caught my eye with its exuberant colours and chaotic multiplayer. I had to know more.

Halfbrick has now issued a new trailer for the Xbox Live Arcade exclusive and after watching it more than once, I still have no idea what is happening in this game. Is this a problem? Absolutely not! Any game in which the heroes are menaced by an excessively armed levitating pirate ship captained by an evil rat has to be worth a look.

Though a precise release date is yet to be announced, Raskulls is expected in 2010. Look for a full review on The Black Panel.
