NanoBITES captures those small but important morsels of gaming information that otherwise might slip between the cracks.

Epic Games’ sci-fi sequel Gears of War 3 will not be released in April 2011 as originally announced. The Xbox 360 exclusive shooter is now expected in Q4 2011, by which time Dom will probably have met, married and murdered at least two more women.

Proving once again that green lipstick will never go out of style, Ubisoft is set to resurrect Michael Ancel’s Beyond Good and Evil. The highly acclaimed action adventure game will receive an HD overhaul ahead of a 2011 release on XBLA and PSN.

A second Resident Evil title is in the works for Nintendo’s forthcoming 3DS handheld. In addition to the previously announced Resident Evil: Revelations, Capcom is preparing Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, which appears to be based on the action oriented Mercenary levels from recent home console instalments.

Don’t expect to find an adorable little Sackboy in your Christmas stocking this year. Developer Media Molecule has confirmed that the immensely ambitious LittleBigPlanet 2 has been delayed to January 2011.

Kirby set to star in another 2D platformer. Unlike the recently announced Kirby’s Epic Yarn, this currently untitled adventure will be coming to Nintendo’s aging DS handheld. The disturbing pink blob has now appeared in more than 20 games.
