What could possibly go wrong?

Twisted Pixel has revealed that it is working on a follow up to its diabolically challenging action platformer ‘Splosion Man. The cheekily titled Ms. ‘Splosion Man features a new (but equally volatile) test subject and like Ms. Pac-Man before her, she wears a bow in her (non-existent) hair.

A kooky press release from Twisted Pixel assures readers that there will be no further mishaps at the Big Science research facility decimated in the original game. Sadly, the corresponding announcement trailer appears to confirm that one or two safety issues have been overlooked. The full text of the press release is available on Destructoid.

With its outrageous blend of comic violence and fast paced 2D platforming, the original ‘Splosion Man was among the highlights of 2009. Ms ‘Splosion Man will be the first sequel from the studio, which until now, has concentrated on developing original properties such as The Maw and Comic Jumper.

Ms. ‘Splosion Man is due for release on unspecified platforms in 2011. The original was an XBLA exclusive.
