NanoBITES captures those small but important morsels of gaming information that otherwise might slip between the cracks.

ITEM! Crystal Dynamics is working on a reboot of Tomb Raider for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The Square Enix published action adventure will feature a young (and apparently shipwrecked) Lara Croft. A release date is yet to be announced.

ITEM! Activision has revealed that a sequel to Radical Entertainment’s Prototype is in the pipeline. Fans of the series will have to wait until 2012 for another dose of super powered brutality.

ITEM! Square Enix has announced that the PS3 edition of Final Fantasy XIV has been delayed indefinitely. According to a 1UP report, several key developers have resigned from the project following the troubled launch of the PC version of the game.

ITEM! Uber Entertainment is bringing Monday Night Combat to Steam. Until now, the fast paced hybrid of tower defence and third person gunplay had been exclusive to XBLA.

ITEM! Having already locked horns with the heroes and villains of the DC Universe, the Mortal Kombat cast is about to welcome another stranger into the fold. The PlayStation 3 version of the 2011 series reboot will feature Sony’s God of War protagonist, Kratos.
