Fatshark has unveiled Hamilton’s Great Adventure, a light-hearted puzzle platformer for the PC and unnamed consoles.
With its tomb raiding protagonist and isometric perspective, Hamilton’s Great Adventure may well remind you of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Our hero will need to overcome giant snakes, marauding snowmen and at least one disgruntled goat in order to win the day. Where Croft was aided in her quest by Mayan warrior Totec, Hamilton will work closely with his colourful avian ally Sasha. Hamilton’s Great Adventure (a presumptuous title if ever there was one) is scheduled for release in April.
The Swedish independent is also working on the highly anticipated Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2 for Capcom. Fatshark’s Martin Wahlund told Game Interface that the developer has hired a number of veterans of GRIN, the now defunct studio responsible for the ‘original’ downloadable hit. Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2 is due to arrive on XBLA and PSN in the first week of February.
