Get ready for another dose of the T-Virus. Capcom has confirmed that co-op focused third person shooter Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City is in development at Slant 6 Games. The new instalment tackles the events of the second and third Resident Evil titles from a surprising new perspective. After years of fighting the good fight, you’ll now have the opportunity to play as a ruthless Umbrella Corporation operative.
While the pay is good and the dental plan excellent, this is not a job for the faint of heart. Gunning down hoards of mutant abominations is probably second nature to you by now, but you’ll also be expected to “silence” members of the government taskforce sent to investigate the accident that has occurred in the heart of Racoon City. You’ll also have the local cops to contend with, cops like series regular Leon S. Kennedy.
Resident Evil: Operation Racoon City is due to arrive on 360, PS3 and PC in the summer of 2011/12.
