NanoBITES captures those small but important morsels of gaming information that otherwise might slip between the cracks.

ITEM! Namco Bandai has created a censored version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for the Australian market. The publisher told Kotaku that a sequence originally involving “sex as a reward” has been edited out in order to secure the maximum MA15+ rating.

ITEM! If you’re looking for an excuse to return to Fallout: New Vegas, it looks like you’re in luck. Bethesda’s has announced that three new DLC packs for its post apocalyptic RPG sequel are in the works for 360, PS3 and PC, with the first (Honest Hearts) due on Tuesday 17 May.

ITEM! BioWare’s feverishly anticipated RPG Mass Effect 3 has been delayed. The concluding chapter in the sci-fi trilogy had been scheduled for Q4 2011 but will now arrive on 360, PS3 and PC in Q1 2012.

ITEM! EA has announced plans to purchase Firemint, the Australian company responsible for the Flight Control, Real Racing and Puzzle Quest franchises. According to Firemint CEO Rob Murray, the decision will enable the studio to focus more on the creative side of development.

ITEM! THQ has confirmed that multiple DLC packs are in the pipeline for its near future FPS Homefront. As reported by Joystiq, company CEO Brian Farrell wasn’t terribly forthcoming regarding release dates, stating only that they are due within the “next six months”.

ITEM! The next chapter in the never ending Need For Speed saga has been announced by EA. Seemingly a more story focused instalment, Need For Speed: The Run will roar onto 360, PS3 and PC in November 2011.
