ITEM! BioWare has unveiled the latest batch of DLC for its multiplatform RPG sequel Dragon Age II. Featuring new quests and environments, Legacy will see players explore the dark history of Hawke’s family. Look for it on 360, PS3 and PC on Tuesday 26 July.

ITEM! Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that Modern Warfare 3 will include functionality to assist the estimated one million Call of Duty players living with colour blindness. The year’s most anticipated game is due for release on 360, PS3 and PC in November.

ITEM! THQ UK has been wound up by its parent company, according to a report published by Develop. Arguably best known for its work on the Juiced series of arcade racing games, it was also responsible for the recently released XBLA title Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team.

ITEM! Ubisoft veterans Audrey Leprince and Emeric Thoa have formed The Game Bakers. The first project from the micro studio will be SQUIDS, a whimsical undersea adventure for PC, MAC and mobile devices.

ITEM! League of Legends developer Riot Games has scored itself a high profile recruit. As reported by Gamasutra, former BioWare staff member and Mass Effect 2 and 3 lead gameplay designer Christina Norman has joined the team.
