Are you ready for some eye candy? A dazzling new trailer has been issued for El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron, the forthcoming third person action game from UTV Ignition. The one minute clip boasts an impressive level of gravel voiced silliness, with the narrator promising us a tale in which “one man” journeys into “the depths of hell… and beyond.”
As even a cursory glance at the footage will reveal, El Shaddai is shaping up to be one of the most visually spectacular titles of the year. Both the 3D action and 2D platforming look swift and fluid, while the wonderfully abstract environments are a sight to behold.
What’s it all about? Well, it appears that we’ll be tasked with tracking down a flock of fallen angels and bringing their souls back to head office.
