Publisher EA has issued a new trailer for its promising downloadable puzzle adventure Warp. The game will see you take on the role of Zero, a squat alien with a range of extraordinary talents. The minute long clip shows off the echo and swap abilities that you’ll need to employ in order to escape your captors. The former will allow you to create a ghostly double of yourself, while the latter will enable you to trade places with enemies or even inanimate objects.

The game is in development at Tradpdoor Inc, a 15 strong team founded by former Gameloft studio manager Ken Schachter. What it lacks in scale, Trapdoor makes up for in experience. As Schachter told Gamasutra, the team includes veterans of numerous blockbuster productions, including Assassin’s Creed, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Dead Space.

Warp will be released on XBLA, PSN and PC. EA is yet to announce a release date.
