NanoBITES captures those small but important morsels of gaming information that otherwise might slip between the cracks.

ITEM! After years of swimming against the tide, Nintendo is about to dip its toes into the world of paid DLC. As reported by Joystiq, August’s New Super Mario Bros 2 for the 3DS will allow players to purchase special Coin Rush stages.

ITEM!  Capcom is bringing its lupine fantasy game Okami into the high definition era. In addition to receiving a graphical spit and polish, Okami HD will boast Move support when it arrives on PSN in spring.

ITEM! Publisher SEGA has pushed its multiplayer brawler Anarchy Reigns back to 2013. As noted by CVG, the announcement came as surprise to the game’s developer Platinum Games, which has already completed work on the project.

ITEM! Apocalyptic action sequel Darksiders II will be supported with at least three waves of post release DLC. According to publisher THQ, the first pack will arrive about a month after the game launches on Thursday 16 August.

ITEM! We’re going to have to wait a little bit longer for Ubisoft’s open world shooter Far Cry 3. Originally slated for a September release, the game is now due to arrive on 360, PS3 and PC on Thursday 29 November.
