ITEM! Forthcoming Kickstarter game Wasteland 2 will include a handy bonus for anyone curious about the history of the apocalyptic series. The original Wasteland, first issued in 1987, will be included with all copies of the sequel.

ITEM! Brothers in Arms: Furious 4 won’t be landing on store shelves in 2012. Gearbox Software head honcho Randy Pitchford told CVG that the studio’s irreverent co-op shooter has undergone significant changes and indeed is “still evolving”.

ITEM! Beatles legend Paul McCartney has revealed that he is working with Bungie. As noted by The Escapist, his compositions may be intended for the studio’s forthcoming multiplatform project with Activision or its recently revealed Marathon revival.

ITEM! Epic Games’ own Fortnite will be the first game to run on Unreal Engine 4 according to a report on Game Informer. Perhaps a left field choice due to its cartoon visuals, Fortnite is slated for release on PC in 2013.
