ITEM! Square Enix has rolled out another batch of downloadable costumes, this time in collaboration with BioWare. From today, Final Fantasy XIII-2 leads Serah and Noel will have access to the futuristic N7 armour featured in Mass Effect 3.

ITEM! If you’ve been scouring the shelves for a 3DS copy of Rayman Origins, you might as well take a breather. As reported by Eurogamer, the colourful old school platformer has been bumped to June.

ITEM! Vigil Games has confirmed that Darksiders II will be a part of the Wii U launch line up. Lead designer Hayden Dalton told Digital Spy that the controller will allow you to “do certain things that you can’t do on the other consoles.”

ITEM! Get ready for the third Infinity Blade title in as many years.  Set generations prior to the events of the first game, Infinity Blade: Dungeons appears to have as much in common with Diablo as it does its predecessors. Look for it on iOS later this year.

ITEM! A release date has been announced for the bizarre looking 3DS adventure Rhythm Thief and the Emperor’s Treasure. You’ll be able to follow the exploits of a Parisian burglar on Thursday 12 April.

ITEM! After receiving a warm reception on 360 and PS3, futuristic squad based shooter Binary Domain is coming to PC. According to publisher SEGA, it will land on store shelves in April.

ITEM! Dissatisfied fans are petitioning BioWare to amend the much debated conclusion to Mass Effect 3. As reported by Game Informer, the developer is considering fan feedback and has “ruled nothing out”.

ITEM! Australia is another step closer to having an R18+ classification for video games. As noted by Kotaku, the proposed legislation has been endorsed by the federal House of Representatives and will now make its way to the Senate.

ITEM! Dark Energy Digital, the studio responsible for undersea sci-fi action game Hydrophobia, is in the hands of administrators according to a story published by GamesIndustry International.

ITEM! A dozen years after the arrival of the last game in the series, we finally have a release date for Diablo III. Blizzard Entertainment’s feverishly anticipated action RPG will become available on Tuesday 15 May.

ITEM! Sony and CCP have revealed that forthcoming sci-fi shooter Dust 514 will be free-to-play. The PS3 exclusive will take place in the same universe as EVE Online and indeed actions taken in one game will affect the other.

ITEM! It’s the end of the worlds. Sony is pulling the plug on four of its MMO titles. Cosmic Rift, Infantry, Star Chamber: The Harbinger Saga and EverQuest Online Adventures (not be confused with EverQuest or EverQuest II) will go dark on Thursday 29 March.

ITEM! The seven month standoff between Bethesda and Mojang has been settled. As reported by Kotaku, the former will retain ownership of ‘Scrolls’ trademark while allowing the latter to publish its forthcoming strategy game under that name.

ITEM! Yukio Fatatsugi’s long awaited Project Draco will henceforth be known as Crimson Dragon, according to report published by Famitsu (via Andriasang). Announced at TGS 2010, the Kinect powered dragon riding sim is expected to arrive later this year.

ITEM! Here’s one for the motoring enthusiasts out there. Microsoft has confirmed that a new Forza is in the works. While Turn 10 has handled previous instalments, Forza Horizon is in development at Playground Games, best known for its work on Colin McRea: Dirt.

ITEM! Capcom has unveiled ambitious DLC plans for its recently released fantasy action game Asura’s Wrath. Expect to see at least two new story ‘episodes’, along with a 2D fighting arena in which Asura can challenge various Street Fighter combatants.

ITEM! The long anticipated Journey finally has a firm release date. According to developer thatgamecompany, this experimental PSN exclusive will be available for download on Wednesday 14 March.

ITEM! While 2010’s Medal of Honor reboot wasn’t exactly a critical darling, EA and Danger Close are pressing ahead with a further instalment. As reported by OXM, the new game will be known as Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

ITEM! Two of the industry’s most acclaimed developers are on a collision course. As reported by Joystiq, Blizzard has mounted a legal challenge to prevent Valve from securing ownership of the ‘DOTA’ trademark.

ITEM! When it comes to using real guitars to play video games, Rocksmith is generally considered to be the best bet. Still, it’s always nice to have another option and Bandfuse: Rock Legends from Realta Entertainment Group is set to provide just that.
