Nilin unleashes a devastating tickle attack.

NanoBITES captures those small but important morsels of gaming information that otherwise might slip between the cracks.

ITEM! Annoyed that major titles like Crysis 3 and DMC have been skipping the Wii U? That won’t be a concern with Watch Dogs. Ubisoft has confirmed that its high tech original IP will indeed be coming to Nintendo’s HD console.

ITEM! Once restricted to the PC scene, the free-to-play phenomenon is bleeding into the console space. Naughty Dog has confirmed that the multiplayer component of its PS3 exclusive Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is now free-to-play.

ITEM! More than 18 months after a BioShock title was announced for the Vita, the project remains in development hell. Irrational Games visionary Ken Levine has informed IGN that publisher 2K Games is yet to commit to funding the game.

ITEM! Capcom has announced the release date for Remember Me. The promising sci-fi action game from developer DONTNOD will arrive on 360, PS3 and PC on Thursday 6th June, just a few short months before the next generation of consoles kicks off.

ITEM! The indie team responsible for the recent Hell Yeah: Wrath of the Dead Rabbit is disbanding. As reported by Game Informer, Arkedo will nevertheless press ahead with the release of two (already completed) titles.

The good news is that there is plenty of top notch gameplay to match the visuals this time around. Crysis 3 imparts a true sense of power on the player, and despite some small missteps along the way, this alone makes it an experience worth having. Read the rest of this entry »

The Cave Review

Available on XBLA, PSN, WU eShop and Steam l Published by SEGA l Developed by Double Fine Productions l Classified PG l Supports 1-3 players

REVIEW IN BRIEF > Rather than a fresh and exciting experience, The Cave feels more like a mash-up of past glories from its distinguished development team. The combination of platforming, puzzles and humour mixed with an exploration of its characters’ dark inner workings will feel very familiar to fans of Ron Gilbert and Double Fine Studios. To everyone else, it will stand as an interesting concept somewhat let down by its execution. Read the rest of this entry »
